Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas (2020)

I was lucky enough to be featured on the fantastic crafty show Kirstie’s handmade Christmas in 2020. It was an amazing experience, and it still makes me smile thinking about it now. I applied in 2019 on a whim with a few different ideas and thought nothing of it. Then I got a call from the production team. They talked to me and explained I had been shortlisted. However, they get lots of middle aged ladies making things with fabric, so that’s as far as it went. Then the same happened in 2020. This time, the lady from the production company looked at my Instagram. She saw the shrink plastic I had played with. Those of you who have watched the show, will know it’s all about showcasing new crafts not seen before. That’s how I ended up making a shrink plastic theater for the show.

They make a great seasonal watch. They are all on the Channel 4 player. Here is a link to my episode.
